Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is stepping into the spotlight as the latest entry in the acclaimed series, bringing a fresh take on the gritty crime saga with a bold RPG twist. Launching as a day-one title on Xbox Series X, the game also hits Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, PlayStation 4, and Steam simultaneously, giving players across platforms a chance to dive into this new chapter.

Set against the backdrop of a post-prison underdog story, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is all about climbing out of the depths. You step into the shoes of Ichiban Kasuga, a low-level yakuza member betrayed and cast aside after serving 18 years behind bars. Returning to a shattered clan and a city that’s moved on without him, Ichiban’s journey is fueled by a quest for truth, revenge, and redemption.

The game features a cinematic trailer now live on SEGA's YouTube channel, teasing everything from intense street battles to heartfelt character moments. While more details on the physical Day One Edition are coming later, pre-orders are available at select North American and European retailers.

An important highlight for Xbox players: Yakuza: Like a Dragon supports Xbox Series X Smart Delivery, meaning you’ll only need to buy the game once and can switch between Xbox One and Series X at will. Plus, cross-save support lets you pick up where you left off, whether you're gaming on the current generation or next-gen console.

With a fresh story, new combat mechanics, and a protagonist fighting against all odds, Yakuza: Like a Dragon promises a wild ride from rock bottom to the top.
