Coffee Stain Publishing and Easy Trigger Games have dropped *Huntdown*, a pixel-art side-scroller inspired by the gritty style and vibe of 80s action flicks. Launching today, the game is available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (exclusive to the Epic Games Store). Whether playing solo or with a friend in local co-op, players step into a dystopian city overrun by gangs and lawlessness, where three bounty hunters are on a mission to clean up the streets—and cash in on their brutal takedowns.

The game screams retro, with hand-painted 16-bit visuals and animated sprites that evoke classic arcade action. It runs at a smooth 60 FPS with frenetic, fluid combat. The soundtrack hits like a blast from the past, packed with dark wave, industrial synths, hard rock, and electro, all set over 20 neon-lit, graffiti-stained urban levels.

Players can pick from three distinct bounty hunters:
- Anna Conda, an ex-commando and sharpshooter willing to kill without hesitation.

- Mow Man, a modified recon droid armed with banned software and cash in his sights.

Each stage presents a unique gang boss—like feral punks, explosive-happy hooligans, motorcycle rock rebels, and crime masterminds—to take down. The levels are packed with neon cityscapes loaded with enemy gangs ranging from hoodlums to organized crime syndicates. Players can arm themselves with machine guns, lasers, katanas, grenades, and more, turning these weapons against the gangs and bosses to fill their bounty.
