Sacrifice

Sacrifice is a thriller set to premiere in October 2026, featuring Chris Evans as Mike Tyler and Anya Taylor-Joy as Joan. The film centers on a celebrity charity gala on a volcanic island that spirals out of control when Joan and her radical followers raid the event.

Joan's group believes in a prophetic mission to save the Earth through a ritual sacrifice. They take three hostages: Mike Tyler, a movie star seeking redemption after a public breakdown; Ben Bracken, a pragmatic billionaire; and Katie, an unlucky performer.

As the razzle-dazzle of fame and fortune crumbles, Mike and the others are dragged across an unforgiving landscape. The story explores the blurred lines between performance and belief, as well as salvation and sacrifice.

Directed by Romain Gavras, Sacrifice also stars Salma Hayek Pinault, John Malkovich, Vincent Cassel, Charli XCX, and Sam Richardson. Produced by Iconoclast, Film4, and Gucci Productions, the film runs approximately 1 hour 43 minutes. It blends action, adventure, and thriller elements.
