Angel Studios has released the official trailer for Runner, an English-language thriller directed by Scott Waugh and written by Miles Hubley and Tommy White. The film is scheduled for U.S. release on September 11, 2026, with Angel Studios handling distribution.

Alan Ritchson plays Hank Malone, a former soldier, and Owen Wilson plays Ben Bishop. According to the official synopsis, the story begins when a critical medical delivery throws them into a brutal race against time and makes them targets of a ruthless cartel.

The mission centers on getting the cargo through as the situation deteriorates into a deadly manhunt. The synopsis says that every detour, delay, and bullet pushes the pair closer to failure, while betrayal closes in from every side.
