The game recently won the German Game Award for “Best Innovation & Technology”. This is what the jury says:
“At first sight Lonely Mountains: Downhill is a highly motivating racing game. But it only reveals its innovative charm at second glance: Unorthodox game paths provide the greatest possible sense of freedom.The realistic exploration experience on a mountain bike is challenging at all times despite the catchy game concept. Lonely Mountains: Downhill convinced the jury mainly because of the gameplay innovations as well as the personal experience.”
