NocturneLittle Witch Academia VR: Broom Racing
Little Witch Academia fans have a new way to step into the magical world — virtually. The game, titled LWAVR, is a VR experience based on the popular anime series produced by Studio TRIGGER. Known for their striking animation and vibrant storytelling, TRIGGER's hit series includes two short films and a 25-episode TV show currently streaming on Netflix.
LWAVR took a successful route through crowdfunding, raising over $165,000 across Kickstarter and Campfire in July 2019. Its original release was planned for June 2020, but the pandemic caused delays, shifting the launch window.
The game will launch on Oculus Quest in late 2020, with versions for PSVR, Oculus Rift, and SteamVR arriving in early 2021. Fans can expect authentic voice acting in both English and Japanese, featuring the same talents from the anime.
