Forgotten Island

Forgotten Island is an upcoming animated film from DreamWorks Animation, distributed by Universal Pictures, set to release in cinemas on October 16. The movie follows two lifelong friends, Jo and Raissa, played by H.E.R. and Liza Soberano, who discover a mysterious portal leading to the enchanting island of Nakali, inhabited by mythical creatures from Filipino folklore. As they navigate this magical world, they encounter various characters including a hapless weredog named Raww, voiced by Dave Franco, and face the formidable Manananggal, voiced by Lea Salonga. The story explores themes of friendship, memory, and risking everything to stay together. Directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado, the film features a star-studded voice cast and is produced by Mark Swift, known for Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
